Annika Benn

Before joining the Young Foundation, Annika worked as a research assistant for New Philanthropy Capital, a charity whose mission it is to help make effectiveness central to how charities work and how funders give. Prior to that she travelled around Southeast Asia for a year and spent some of her time volunteering as an English teacher in rural Thailand and Laos.

Annika is a helpline volunteer for SANEline, providing information and emotional support for those with mental health problems and those affected by mental health, such as family members and carers.

Annika has a degree from Cardiff University in Broadcast Journalism and has worked on programmes such as Watchdog and Richard & Judy.
