Arrival Education
Students (14-15) are at a key junction in their lives yet at this vital point the discourse between hopes and self-belief can be the key barrier for many young people. Arrival will empower participants to follow their lofty aspirations, providing a supportive framework that highlights the skills required to realise their vision - bridging the gap between goals and the steps required to acheive them, building pro-active, engaged and motivated young people equiped with practical skills to achieve. Exposure to such environments will greatly increase the self-belief and direction of participants in their future life choices as well as their evolving attitudes to work, school and their greater lives. For many this exposure will be a sufficient catalyst to direct their practical school choices in the immediate future as well as a perspective on approaches in the longer term. For others, an ongoing relationship with such aspirational employers will lead to further work placements and routes into their dream industry. But for all, as ambassadors for the programme through the 'peer leverage' approach, participants will develop leadership skills for use within their school and the world at large. |
